Khymeia VRRS is an Italian Class I certified medical device with clinically tested virtual reality system for rehabilitation and tele-rehabilitation. It was established in 1998 by an MIT Professor Dr. Lamberto Piron.
The VRRS exercise library consists of 800+ clinically validated exercises. Simply changing the accessories, VRRS can perform a wide range of exercises for different rehabilitation modules: Neuromotor, Cognitive, Postural, Immersive Virtual Reality, Speech Therapy, Orthopedic, Cardiorespiratory etc. Its gaming is a key motivation for the achievement of rehabilitation goals.
Neuromotor Module includes assessment tests and neuromotor rehabilitation exercises for upper limb and lower limb patients.

The Cognitive Module carries out activities related to the treatments of memory, attention, spatial orientation, mathematics, logic and etc.
Immersive Virtual Reality: Khymeia is a pioneer applying VR technology to the rehabilitation sector. With a VR Headset, patient is immersed in a virtual environment, the brain creates an embodied simulation of the body used to predict actions and represent emotions. This allows patients to perform exercises for Activities of Daily Living in a safe and controlled environment.
