Traditional tactile sensors are not able to meet the requirement in form factors and shape conformability for the application of flexible mat. NAMI has developed an ultra-flexible fabric sensor that can be easily integrated with various products for continuous monitoring of pressure. The pressure sensing component is a piezoresistive fabric sandwiched between two flexible fabric electrode sheets. The sensor product could be designed as sensor array to monitor pressure distribution over a large area.
