Traditional rehabilitation services and training are often limited by specific locations or places, especially for the elderly and individuals with mobility limitations. The collaboration between LSCM and the University of Hong Kong has led to the development of the imseCAVE VR system, which provides an interactive virtual and mixed reality training environment. The main objective is to develop immersive exercise games based on extended reality (XR), providing more diversity in exercises and increased engagement for rehabilitation purposes. With this system, users can participate in training activities that simulate real-life scenarios, offering a safe and controlled setting for rehabilitation exercises. This innovative approach not only diversifies the available training options but also enhances user engagement and motivation.
