HIROCHAN is a baby-shaped robot for elderly people with dementia. It is easy to use, and the faceless design allows each user to project his or her own image of the baby. Through various experiments, it has been found that HIROCHAN can be used by elderly people with dementia for a long period of time and is expected to relieve the emotional burden on caregivers.
