Fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing(FEES) and Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Study(VFSS) are used for the swallowing and Vocal cord assessment traditionally, however it is very difficult to arrange FEES and VFSS in community setting. Ultrasound is providing an non-invasive and safe method for speech therapist to visual the swallowing and voice performance of elderly or patient. The Dual-probe ultrasound device with linear and Convex head is portable with a wireless system by apps to provide imaging and recording. Therapists can easily take it for community service including setting in elderly home and home-based service to provide a fast assessment.
