This walking aid system helps Parkinson patients with freezing of gait to walk independently. The device is attached to the upper part of the shoe where it collects and analyses data on the wearer’s gait. An algorithm based on artificial intelligence detects anomalies due to freezing of gait. The device then projects a laser line onto the floor and/or triggers an acoustic signal that helps the patient resume walking.
