SmartUrine is a next-generation digital urinalysis solution designed to improve health monitoring, particularly in elderly care, home care, and hospital settings. The system is portable and can be seamlessly integrated in the toilet, automating the entire testing process and providing fast, accurate, and hygienic urine analysis without manual handling. Our device combines advanced sensors with digital connectivity to detect up to 10 health biomarkers, including hydration, infection risk, kidney function, and metabolic changes. We are also developing functionality to capture early signals of bacterial activity in urine, enabling timely UTI intervention before complications develop. For elderly users, urine is often the first indicator of deteriorating health. By embedding SmartUrine into daily routines, whether at home or in care facilities, we enable early detection of infections, dehydration, or chronic disease complications - conditions that are often overlooked until hospitalisation is required.
