“100 Fun Active Ageing” Rehabilitation Program
is designed specifically for elderly individuals in Hong Kong, integrating innovative gerontechnology with local rehab service needs for personalized training. It includes three main components:
1. “VitalBot” Robot: Leads seniors in doing the “Lutheran Wellness Exercise,” making workouts more fun and interactive.
2. GoPod Interactive System: Uses game-based methods to assess depression through the PHQ9 questionnaire, supporting mental well-being.
3. LIAS Motion-Sensing Rehab System: Assesses and improves posture for lifting and transfer tasks, and scores performance in the “Lutheran Occupational Safety Stretching Exercises.”
These tools help improve daily quality of life for the elderly and ease the burden on caregivers.
