The "Elderlytech Partner Program" was initiated and launched by Tencent SSV in 2024. It provides public welfare funding and advantageous support in digital technology and ecological resources from Tencent to start-ups engaged in silver hair technology. Through innovative funding, it leads and accelerates the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and works with industry partners to explore smart elderly-assistance products and solutions that are technology-driven, inclusive and sustainable.
In 2025, the Elderlytech Partner Program was upgraded and released under the guidance of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau and Minhang District People's Government. With the support and assistance of Tencent's ecological resources, it has established China's first application evaluation and demonstration system for silver hair technology in Shanghai. This system enables innovative products for the elderly to bridge the "last mile" from technology to implementation, enter the real-life scenarios of the elderly, and provide verifiable and replicable benchmark practices for the aging society.
